Fred is known as "The Grumpy Bastahd". He was
adopted and brought into the Moose County family in
April of 2008 at the age of 9. He was rescued by the
boston terrier rescue, Friends of Homeless Animals.
He's not a pure boston but no one really minds.
We all only just care that he's just so ugly, he's cute.
Tessie
Age 5
Tessie was adopted and brought into the Moose
County family in November of 2009. She's super high
energy and tons of fun. She's taking her job of keeping
Fred on his toes seriously. While not actually making it
into the rescue (thankfully), Tessie was found through Fred's
most wonderful former foster mom, Kapten Hanna. She is
a pure bred boston terrier and was named after the
Dropkick Murphys song about the Boston Red Sox.

Hannah Beags
06/19/98 - 09/28/09
Hannah was pretty much the most wonderful
beagle in the whole entire world. She was a thief, stinky
and oh so lovable. She moved to the beach in June of 2008
and instantly became a hit at Moose County. She can
still be found throughout this site, lurking in photos to
overwhelm you with her adorableness. She passed away in
September of 2009 after a brief fight with cancer.
On a side note, former Moose County shop bulldog
Mabel is currently battling bone cancer. If you wish
to make a donation towards her ongoing medical bills
please visit her site here. If you can't send money,
please make sure you at least send her some
positive energy.
