Fred
12 years old

Fred is known as "The Grumpy Bastahd". He was
adopted
and brought into the Moose County family in April of 2008
at the age of 9. He was pulled from a shelter in Arkansas
by the Boston terrier rescue, Friends of Homeless Animals,
and brought north.  He's not a pure Boston but no one really
minds.  We all only just care that he's just so ugly, he's cute.

Tessie
7 years old

Tessie was adopted and brought into the Moose
County family in November of 2009. She's super high
energy and tons of fun.
She's taking her job of keeping
Fred on his toes seriously. While not actually making it
into the rescue (thankfully), Tessie was found through Fred's
most wonderful former foster mom, Kapten Hanna. She is
a pure bred boston terrier and was named after the
Dropkick Murphys song about the Boston Red Sox.

Tiki
1 year old

The ultimate Christmas present! Tiki joined the Moose
County crew in December of 2010. He was adopted from
Animal Welfare Society in West Kennebunk, Maine. He's
half Boston terrier and half beagle (best of both worlds!). He
was only 7 month old when he came home and had the
energy to prove it! He took to Fred and Tessie instantly
and they to him. He loved his first summer at the shop.
His motto is, "New person? New BEST FRIEND!"

Hannah Beags
06/19/98 - 09/28/09

Hannah was pretty much the most wonderful
beagle in the whole entire world. She was a thief, stinky
and oh so lovable. She moved to the beach in June of 2008
and instantly became a hit at Moose County. She can
still be found throughout this site, lurking in photos to
overwhelm you with her adorableness. She passed away in
September of 2009 after a brief fight with cancer.
